Packaging is the first thing a recipient touches. Before the product is seen, the box has already said something about your brand. Here is what to think about.
Pick the right structure
Rigid boxes feel premium and protect well, which suits executive gifts and launch kits. Mailer boxes are lighter and ship easily, which suits large volumes and direct dispatch. Sleeves and wraps are a simple way to dress up standard boxes.
Design the inside too
Inserts keep products in place and make the unboxing feel considered. Tissue, shredded fill, a printed card or a branded ribbon add to the moment without adding much cost.
Choose finishes with purpose
Foil, embossing and spot finishes draw attention to a logo or message. Use them selectively so the key element stands out.
Keep it practical
Check that the packaging fits the product exactly, survives transit and can be packed efficiently at scale. Ask for a physical sample before bulk production.
Think about sustainability
Kraft board, recyclable materials and reduced plastic are increasingly expected by recipients, and they can look just as good when designed well.
